Our Room tends to forget which rules apply so here is the one that was sent out.

Plebe Do’s and Don’ts as of 21 AUG 2007
Purpose: The purpose of this document is to establish a current, clear standard of the privileges and responsibilities of the 4th class. These instructions are to be followed in their entirety and without exception until they are either officially updated or the 4th class are promoted upon the successful completion of plebe year.
While in Bancroft Hall, Plebes must:
1. Chop with their “eyes in the boat,” square corners, and sound off with “Go Navy, Sir!” or “Beat Army, Sir!” throughout Bancroft Hall with the exception of the administrative spaces, the Midshipman Store, the 7th wing gym, the basement areas, and the post office. Chopping will occur from 0630 to 2000 on Monday through Saturday, and 1300 to 2000 on Sundays and holidays. Plebes will not “drag” with upperclass. They must chop during the specified times unless they are in possession of a medical chit. Town liberty is not an excuse to quit chopping.
2. Be in the Working Uniform of the Day or better from Reveille until 1530; after which Regulation PE gear is authorized. Upon commencement of Study Hour, Blue and Gold Jogging Suits are authorized. If going to conduct a personal workout before 1530, Regulation PE Gear is Authorized. If SIQ, PE gear will be authorized during the day. Shower shoes will not be worn until after 2000.
3. Spirit Gear is not authorized for plebes unless it is company related and can only be worn for Pep Rallies or Company events.
4. Come to attention and greet each upperclassman, commissioned officer, and senior enlisted leader with appropriate rank and title.
-Plebes are required to greet all in season varsity Team Captains, all four stripers and above and any upperclass they know, by name.
5. Observe uninterrupted Study Hour on Sunday - Friday from 2000 to 2300 within Bancroft Hall, in Academic Buildings, Mitscher Hall, and Nimitz Library only. They will not attend any event during study hour unless authorized by the Superintendent. They may not carry out food our conduct personal workouts during this time.
6. Attend Company Blue and Gold unless excused by the Company Training Officer.
7. Attend all Saturday Morning Training unless an in-season varsity athlete or excused by the Company Training Officer.
8. Be awake, in the uniform of the day, with the door open, by reveille.
9. Be in the rack following Blue and Gold, but no later than 2300.
10. Know all daily rates to include:
-The menus of three meals in advance
-Conversational knowledge of three current newspaper articles -Knowing the names of the OOW and MOOW for the current day
-Professional topics for the week
-“The Days”
-Names of all In Season Varsity Team Captains and all four stripers and
above.
11. Be permitted to play video games on Town Liberty only. Other media privileges are not authorized, and are not to be awarded by anyone other than the Company Training officer or Company Commander. Plebes are not authorized to own speakers.
12. Maintain professional relationships with upperclass Midshipmen. Dating upperclassmen and classmates within one’s company is strictly prohibited.
13. Not use Second Class doors or Second and Third class ladder wells.
14. Maintain Bravo Conditions in rooms at all times.
15. Sound off with “Attention on Deck” for all O5s and above in passageways, and whenever any upper class or commissioned officer enters a room.
16. Not use the Company Wardroom.
17. While on CMOD, stand at parade-rest and come to attention to greet all superiors.
18. Not use center doors entering Smoke Hall, Memorial Hall, or the Rotunda.
19. Be required to pass a weekly personnel and room inspection.
20. “Plebe” their covers at all times and in all locations on the yard. They are authorized to hold covers as they wish while off the yard on town liberty. A plebe should never be without his/her cover.
21. Ensure that, while in upperclass rooms, the door remains at 90 degrees with the
overhead lights on.
22. Use coin-operated laundry facilities in 4th and 5th wing only on town liberty.
While in King Hall/Dahlgren Hall, Plebes must:
1. Stand when a commissioned officer joins the mess.
2. Request permission from the Squad Leader or the most senior individual to join the mess if late or from a different squad.
3. Remain seated until excused by their squad leader.
4. Not speak unless addressed by an upperclassman.
5. Sit at attention, with their eyes in the boat.
6. Be granted carry-on only by First Class Midshipmen.
7. Not talk in the mess halls while moving to and from their seats.
8. Pass only through the main pathways, and not the upperclass pathways.
While using Yard Facilities, Plebes must:
1. Not sit in Drydock unless on Town Liberty or on Sunday from 0800 to 1700, while hosting their family or sponsors. They must be in the liberty uniform of the day. They may purchase food for carry-out in Drydock, but never during Study Hour. Steerage is off limits to plebes at all times. Blue and Gold Jogging Suits are never authorized.
2. Not utilize curved walkways on the Yard, or elevated walls between Michelson and Chauvenet.
3. Not sit outdoors on the yard at all, unless excused and supervised by a superior.
4. Salute all commissioned officers.
5. Plebes may talk outdoors, but they must maintain the highest professional bearing at all times. Large groupings of disorderly plebes will not be tolerated for any reason.
6. Move expeditiously to their destination.
Off the Yard, Plebes must:
1. Commence Saturday Town Liberty from Company Commander Liberty Call ( No earlier than 1200) until 2400 and Sunday from 0800 until 1300 to and for religious services only. (If not on duty status)
2. Not operate a motor vehicle, wear civilian clothes, or consume alcohol unless they are 21 years of age and on leave status.
3. Be permitted to run off the yard to conduct personal workouts only on town liberty. Uniform is regulation PE Gear with ID card and an armband if before sunrise or after sunset.
4. Never leave a 22-mile district that circularly radiates from the Chapel Dome unless in possession of a chit signed by their Company Officer.
